    Outpatient Therapy

Outpatient therapy is a form of therapeutic treatment offered to individuals who do not need to be in a skilled nursing setting on a continual basis. A number of therapies can be offered on an outpatient basis including occupational, speech, physical, and post-surgical care. Many patients prefer outpatient therapy because it allows them to receive necessary medical care while staying at home. It also allows patients to live a relatively normal life while simply setting aside time to attend therapy sessions.

If you suffer from any of these conditions, you could benefit from outpatient therapy:
    • Back pain
    • Joint stiffness or pain
    • Lack of blood flow
    • Stroke
    • Muscle weakness or spasms
    • Arthritis
    • Lack of endurance or range of motion
    • Edema
    • Falls
    • Neuropathy
    • Shingles (Herpes Zoster)

    Respite and Recovery

    Everyone needs a little respite!

Our Assisted Living respite program is available for a 7 to 60-day stay. When informal caregivers require a leave or if you are recovering from illness, injury or disease, we have a place for you to stay. Due to the short-term and/or acute nature of the service, it is offered as a complete, individualized package including:

    • Furnished apartment
    • All utilities (except phone)
    • Three meals per day
    • Housekeeping
    • Weekly linen and personal laundry
    • Emergency response system
    • Group activities
    • 24-hour staffing
    • Wellness checks
    • Initial assessment and monitoring by trained staff
    • Assistance with personal cares such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and mobility
    • Medication administration
    • Medication set-up
    • Nurse supervision and monitoring by trained staff

There is a per-day cost for respite care services; please call for rates. Discharge is anticipated within 60 days or an assessment by one of our registered nurses is completed to determine current status and make recommendations for appropriate service options. Other skilled services, such as physical therapy, will need to be purchased from the health care provider of your choice.

    Our Care Partners

Partnerships are crucial to providing the best and most comprehensive options for our tenants. Onsite physicians can take away the stress of fighting weather and traffic to get to your appointment if you choose. This is an approach where primary care providers, families, and patients work in partnership to improve health outcomes and quality of life for individuals with chronic health conditions or disabilities. This team approach to care gives you access to all the services and support you need.

Please let us know if you have questions and we can connect you to our physician services partner.

Compassionate Care to Live Life Encouraged

A transition to Assisted Living or Long-Term Care can often feel intimidating, but it doesn't have to be.

“I highly recommend Sterling Park Senior Living to anyone who needs rehab for a stroke. I had no idea what to expect, but I was unable to walk and I was completely dependent on my caregivers for mobility. In just a few days, they had me standing up and I began working with therapists to help me with speech, physical therapy, and occupational therapy. They were all very professional, encouraging, and invested in my success. They gently prodded me through each phase of my recovery and the results were amazing. Soon, I was walking with a walker, getting clearer and stronger speech, and they even had me playing piano as part of my therapy, which I was afraid I would never get to do again! I was discharged after two months of rehab. It was hard work, but it was worth it!”

    - Vicki K.

We so deeply appreciate the excellent care our loved one received while in rehab at Sterling Park Senior Living. You went above and beyond our expectations. We are so pleased with the progress he has made while staying there. We would highly recommend your facility to other family members who are struggling to find the right care for their loved ones. Thank you for the constant communication, excellent rehabilitation, and caring staff who helped our family throughout the journey to get my husband, our dad, and grandpa back home.

    - The Binek Family

“I will admit, I was a bit skeptical when I first arrived but they won me over with their caring ways! Today we had a Thanksgiving feast at lunch with family invited and it was very special. I highly recommend Sterling Park because it's a great facility with great staff!”

    - John Lundberg

“This is a small and family-like facility that prides itself on providing competent care in a loving environment. The staff get to know the resident and their families on a personal level due to the one on one type atmosphere. A great place to live. Both my grandmothers were there and passed there, surrounded by people who cared and were a support to both me and my family. I would highly recommend this place to anyone seeking care for themselves or a loved one.”

    - Marlah L.

“Thanks to the therapy team at Sterling Park, I'm going to WALK out of here! The staff was beyond helpful and motivating. Overall, it's been a great experience being here!”
